Zhambyl’s Literary Heritage in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

On February 25, 2026, within the framework of SDG 4, the International Scientific and Methodological Conference titled “The Literary Heritage of Zhambyl Zhabaev and the National Spirit: Integration of Zhambyl’s Work into the Educational Process Based on Artificial Intelligence” was held at the Municipal Public Institution “Zhambyl Secondary School” in Koktobe village, Shu district, Zhambyl region.

The conference focused on reinterpreting the творчество of Zhambyl Zhabaev within the framework of digital education and AI-based teaching strategies. The event was organized with the participation of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and educators of the Zhambyl secondary school.

Academic Dialogue and Innovation

During the plenary session, scholars discussed:

• the phenomenon of Zhambyl in the context of the oral poetic tradition,

• national values in his poetry,

• the role of aitys (improvised poetic competition),

• AI tools in literature teaching and textual interpretation.

Researchers from Kazakhstan and neighboring countries shared innovative approaches to integrating epic poetry into digital classrooms.

Outcomes and Cultural Program

The conference concluded with the adoption of a final resolution, the official launch of the proceedings, the signing of a memorandum, and an award ceremony.

The event ended with the concert program “The Beacon of Great Steppe Poetry,” celebrating the enduring legacy of Zhambyl as a symbol of national spirit and cultural continuity in the modern technological era.
