The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Ensuring Quality Education within the Framework of SDG 4

From March 3 to 6, 2026, within the framework of SDG 4 "Artificial intelligence opportunities in ensuring quality education" the department faculty members Nurmanova B.Z., Andabayeva G.K., Ilyashova G.K., Sarsenova A.Zh., and Murabildayeva R.A. took part in the expert strategic session on academic management and education quality organized by the Department of Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During the session, important information was presented on the effective use of generative artificial intelligence tools in the educational process. In particular, the capabilities of artificial intelligence in course design, clarification of learning outcomes, development of assessment criteria, and improvement of education quality were comprehensively explained.

The new knowledge and experience gained during the strategic session were later shared with the department faculty via the Zoom platform. During the meeting, effective ways of applying artificial intelligence tools in educational, methodological, and academic activities were discussed, and an exchange of views was held with colleagues.
