13 march, 2026

On March 13, 2026, an educational event titled “Ecology and Health: The Impact of the Environment on Human Physical and Mental Well-Being” was organized as part of environmental and educational activities for students. The event was conducted by lecturer Kairatkyzy Dinara.

The main purpose of the event was to develop students’ environmental awareness, increase their understanding of how environmental factors influence human health, and promote a responsible attitude toward nature and the environment.

During the event, important issues related to the interaction between humans and the environment were discussed. Particular attention was given to factors such as air pollution, noise levels in urban environments, the lack of green areas, and their influence on people’s physical and mental health. During the discussion, students emphasized that the ecological situation in modern cities directly affects human well-being, stress levels, and overall quality of life.

The event was held in the format of a seminar-training session, which allowed students to actively participate in discussions. Participants shared their opinions, discussed environmental problems, and proposed possible solutions.

The practical part of the event was aimed at developing ecological thinking and creative expression. Students were divided into groups and given a task to illustrate their vision of an environmentally friendly environment and the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. While completing the task, students discussed the importance of environmental protection, the role of green spaces in human life, and the need for responsible attitudes toward nature.

Group work helped develop communication skills, strengthen teamwork, and promote environmental awareness among students. The creative works presented by the students reflected their understanding of environmental problems and their desire to preserve natural resources.

During the event, students demonstrated a high level of engagement and interest in the topic. As a result, participants concluded that the development of environmental culture and responsible behavior toward the environment are essential for protecting human health and ensuring sustainable development.
