SDG 4, 11. National Traditions as a Foundation for Intergenerational Continuity
A meaningful event promoting national traditions was held among the teaching staff and students of the pre-university training department. On the occasion of March 14 – the Day of “Körisu” – curators and students organized a festive meeting titled “With One More Year!”.
Körisu Day is a special holiday symbolizing safe passage through winter, reunion, and the exchange of warm wishes. From early morning, families prepare festive tables, cook traditional baursaks, and welcome relatives and neighbors. Younger members greet elders with both hands, saying “With one more year!”, expressing wishes for health and longevity.
Objective: To promote national values, preserve cultural heritage, foster spiritual development among students, and strengthen intergenerational connections.
