It is well known that the prosperity and abundance of the Kazakh people are reflected in their rich dastarkhan. In this regard, the Department of Pre-University Training at the Faculty of Pre-University Education organized an event dedicated to the Day of Culture and National Traditions, aimed at promoting national cuisine.

National cuisine is a vivid reflection of the culture and way of life of any nation. These values have not lost their significance to this day. The traditional dishes of the Kazakh people are closely connected with their nomadic lifestyle, which has been shaped over centuries. Today, there is a growing interest in traditional foods that are gradually being forgotten. Through national cuisine, we are able to rediscover our roots and promote our cultural heritage.

One of the key values that define a nation’s identity, worldview, and way of life is its customs and traditions. Therefore, promoting national dishes and passing them on to the younger generation is an important task.

The Day of Culture and National Traditions is a significant event that honors the past and provides direction for the future. It is important not only to increase the number of such events but also to enhance their quality and content.

Culture is the spiritual foundation of a nation, while traditions are a priceless heritage formed over centuries.

The purpose of this cultural event is to contribute to the spiritual development of participants, to introduce the beneficial qualities of national dishes that provide energy and vitality, and to foster an appreciation for traditional cuisine.
