“One Day – One Classroom”: Change Begins with Cleanliness
TDM 4. On March 17, 2026, an event titled “One Day – One Classroom” was organized within the framework of the national environmental campaign “Taza Kazakhstan,” initiated by the Department of Publishing, Editing, and Design Arts of the Faculty of Journalism.
The main objective of this initiative was to increase students’ environmental responsibility, improve the cleanliness and aesthetic appearance of the learning environment, and foster a culture of collective work.
Students from the department’s educational programs — “Publishing,” “Digital Media Dramaturgy,” “Design,” and “Media Design” — actively participated in the event. Each group carried out cleaning activities in their assigned classrooms.
During the cleaning process, desks and chairs were carefully wiped, windows were washed, and classrooms were thoroughly cleaned. In addition, students paid special attention to the decoration of classrooms, contributing to the enhancement of the learning environment.
Motivational quotes encouraging knowledge, discipline, and hard work were placed on the walls, and informative corners were created in each classroom. These included professional materials, useful study tips, and educational information.
Throughout the event, students demonstrated a high level of organization and responsibility, serving as an example of effective teamwork.
The “One Day – One Classroom” campaign proved to be not only a cleaning activity but also an important tool for education and cultural development. Such initiatives enhance students’ environmental awareness, respect for labor, and social engagement.
This campaign not only contributed to the cleanliness and improvement of the educational institution but also strengthened unity and teamwork among students. Undoubtedly, such initiatives will continue in the future.
