Representatives of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the international round table "Innovative learning model". Educational systems of Kazakhstan and Estonia", held at the Sorbonne-Kazakhstan Institute on the basis of KazNPU named after Abai.
The round table brought together leading experts, scientists and heads of educational organizations of the two countries. The organizers were the City Scientific and Methodological Center for New Technologies in Education in Almaty and the Philological Faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
The central topic of the discussion was the search for effective ways to transform educational systems in the context of globalization. The participants exchanged best practices in the implementation of innovative pedagogical models and digital technologies. Special attention was paid to the issues of training a new generation of teaching staff and the integration of artificial intelligence into the educational process.
The Dean of the Philological Faculty of al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bayan Dzholdasbekova, Deputy Dean Zhadira Bayanbayeva and Head of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature Alyona Demchenko delivered expert reports. KazNU Senior lecturer Saule Isalieva moderated the section. Representatives of the country's leading university shared their best practices in the field of philological education and intercultural communication.
The practical part of the round table included an interactive session where guests from Estonia, including Tallinn Vice Mayor Andrei Kante and representative of the Department of Education Aurika Meimre, were shown modern digital tools: platforms for organizing group learning, book-story creation services and AI capabilities in creating test tasks.
Following the results of the round table, the parties agreed to implement joint scientific and educational projects and expand academic exchange.
It is worth noting that this meeting took place during the visit of a delegation of education workers from Tallinn to KazNU during their international educational internship.
