On March 26, as part of the Sustainable Development Goal No. 4 “Quality Education,” a career guidance event titled “Campus Tour at Al-Farabi KazNU” was organized at the Faculty of Philology for students of Zhambyl Secondary School from Shu district, Zhambyl region. The main objective of the event was to provide career guidance to prospective graduates, introduce them to higher education opportunities, support their future career choices, and familiarize them with the academic and cultural environment of the university.

The event was opened with a welcoming speech by the Head of the Department, S. Daribayev, who warmly greeted the guests. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of quality education and highlighted KazNU as a leading university that successfully integrates education and research. He also wished the students to make informed career choices and become competitive professionals in the future.

During the tour, students explored the campus infrastructure and received detailed information about the academic programs and majors offered by the Faculty of Philology. They were also introduced to the specifics of philological education and its career prospects in the job market.
Additionally, participants visited the Al-Farabi Library and Museum, where they became acquainted with the university’s academic heritage and cultural values. As part of the tour, the students also visited the modern educational and creative HUB space, where they explored high-tech projects and innovative activities in the field of science.
Throughout the event, students actively participated, asked questions, and received comprehensive answers. The meeting was held in an open and interactive format, which increased their interest in university life and positively influenced their career orientation.
