Cooperation with LiuGong has been established

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Chinese company LiuGong.

This agreement was reached at the opening of the LiuGong center in Kazakhstan.

The document lays the foundation for the development of partnership between the two sides in educational and industrial areas. Within the framework of the memorandum, it is planned to train qualified personnel in the field of construction machinery and implement joint educational programs. This initiative will enhance students' practical knowledge and pave the way for the training of specialists adapted to the labor market.

Guangxi LiuGong Machinery Co. Ltd. is a large engineering company founded in 1958 in Liuzhou city. Today, the company is one of the world leaders in the field of construction machinery production. It also ranks first in the world in the production of wheel loaders.

Chairman of the Management Board – Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev visited the LiuGong technology exhibition.

The main types of LiuGong machinery include excavators, bulldozers, graders, road rollers, cranes and loaders. Today, the company owns more than 20 manufacturing plants and distributes its products through hundreds of dealers in more than 100 countries.

The Rector of KazNU held talks with the leadership of the Chinese company to further strengthen the partnership and announced a proposal to open a LiuGong center at the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
