An entrepreneur alumnus who proposed an innovative solution

At the Department of Mathematical and Computer Modeling of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a special and inspiring meeting was held with 3rd- and 4th-year students. We invited as a special guest Asylzat Isatay, a graduate of the department, a young and successful entrepreneur, and the founder of the innovative startup Aidentis. For students, this meeting became not only a valuable opportunity to exchange advice, but also an important bridge leading from knowledge and hard work to dreams and real achievements.

Aidentis: a breakthrough in dentistry through artificial intelligence

Asylzat Isatay is an entrepreneur who uses the technologies of the 21st century to offer innovative solutions in healthcare, more specifically in the field of dentistry. The Aidentis startup founded on his initiative helps optimize doctors’ work through artificial intelligence and establishes partnerships between clinics and student organizations.

The Aidentis platform automatically analyzes complex diagnostic images such as lateral cephalometric radiographs (LCR) and provides doctors with ready-made analytical results. This approach saves specialists time and increases diagnostic accuracy.

In 2024, the project attracted 200,000 US dollars in angel investment and was valued at 3 million US dollars. This is clear evidence of recognition, perseverance, and dedication to knowledge.

Recently, Aidentis established strategic partnerships with the Kazakhstan Dental Association (KDA) and the Dental Association of Students of Kazakhstan (DAS). This cooperation opened the way to modernizing dental education and introducing modern digital solutions into the domestic medical sector.

During the meeting, Asylzat Isatay spoke freely with students and openly shared the challenges and achievements of his journey. “The university is a great platform that shapes our professional future. I studied here not only to get a diploma, but to grow and learn for myself,” he said. He also emphasized the role of university education in professional life: “The dedication I had to my studies became the foundation of my current startup and technological solutions. Every algorithm, every problem, every piece of code later turned into a tool in my hands.” These words became a great source of inspiration for students studying mathematics, computer modeling, and applied mathematics.

During the meeting, students asked the graduate the questions that interested them most.

To the key question, “What difficulties did you face when starting your startup?” Asylzat replied: “Building a team and finding the first investors were among the most difficult stages. But the logical thinking and systematic approach I learned at the university helped me overcome those challenges.

From Asylzat’s story, students gained a deeper understanding of the importance of perseverance and striving toward one’s goals, and they found the motivation to look confidently toward their future professional path.

At the end of the meeting, participants expressed their admiration for the graduate’s achievements and noted that meeting such a role model had left a special impression on them. The well-known words of Yusuf Balasaguni, “Do not think of your own benefit alone; think of the benefit of the people, and your own benefit will be found within it,” clearly summed up the essence of the meeting.

Asylzat Isatay is a bright image of a modern young person who has become a source of wisdom for his people and an example for his country. His success is proof that a KazNU graduate, by combining science and technology, can achieve recognition at the global level.
