"Extremism and Radicalism in religion"
The round table "Extremism and radicalism in religion" was held on February 19, 2017. The roundtable was conducted by the Associate Professor of the Department of World History, Historiography and Source Studies, Cand. Kartabaeva E.T., teachers of the department - candidate of historical sciences, associate professor Alpysbaeva NK, Ph.D., senior teacher Bulgaouov Sh.T., PhD, senior lecturer Nuskabay P., Master of Arts, Senior Lecturer M.Raimbekova participated in the organization of the round table.
During the round table, the issues of radicalism, extremism and terrorism were discussed, which in recent years have become the most complex and painful problem in the world. The topic aroused great interest from students, there were a lot of questions and discussions. During the exchange of views, it was concluded that in order not to fall under the influence of various radical and extremist trends, it is necessary to expand knowledge about the foundations and history of Islam, and not to view Islam as a political tool, but to see in it an endless source of our spiritual development.
