Al-Farabi KazNU Young Scientist Council voted the best YSC of Kazakhstan of 2019
Al-Farabi KazNU Young Scientist Council wins the “Best Young Scientist Council” Contest organized by the Foundation of the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan
An award ceremony for the winners of the national contest took place in Taraz on November 8, where KazNU YSC received a first-degree diploma. The aim of the Competition is to support the initiatives of young scientists to help them reveal their scientific potential. For the first time, a monetary reward fund of 1 million tenge was established for the winners of this year’s “Best Young Scientist Council” Contest.
The competitive commission used following criteria when in determining the winner: the activity and effectiveness of the YSC, the specifics and significance of the activities carried out by the Council, the research activity of young scientists of the organization, etc. According to the decision of the commission, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’ Young Scientists Council showed high results, meeting all of the Competition requirements.
Thus, in the Year of Youth, announced by the First President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Al-Farabi KazNU’s YSC shows high performance indicators and fulfills Elbasy’s instructions to unravel and strengthen the scientific potential of the youth, and provide support for young talents.
