Every year, in the first weeks of the New Year, at Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi held the Densaulyk Sports Competition, organized by the Parasat union and the KazNU sports club with the goal of improving the health of teachers, staff and doctoral students.

This year, university sports competitions are held for the 48th time. In the Densaulyk Spartakiad, in which only teachers, doctoral students and employees of KazNU took part, it was first organized in 1972, then S.M.Kirov State University has continued to this day.
