"Kazakhstan in Central and South-East Asia: Exploring New Frontiers and Engaging Imaginetively" international scientific webinar
On October 3, at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, an international webinar was held with the participation of PhD Mustafa Izzuddin, senior lecturer at the National University of Singapore, analyst in social and international affairs in Singapore.
The webinar was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies Y.M. Paltore, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies K.T. Gabdullin, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of the Middle East and South Asia Erekesheva L.G. and PhD-doctoral students of the faculty. Dr. Mustafa Izzuddin made a presentation on the political, linguistic and educational situation in the countries of Central and Southeast Asia, as well as on the prospects for Kazakhsta's cooperation with the countries of Southeast Asia.
The webinar also touched upon the issues of the Islamic banking system, education, tourism and socio-economic development in the countries of Southeast Asia.
At the end of the webinar, there was a discussion in which Dr. Mustafa Izzuddin answered the questions of doctoral students and on behalf of the dean of the faculty Paltore Y.M. Dr. Mustafa Izuddin was awarded with a letter of appreciation.
