KazNU student won the world competitio

Among the students of the Kazakh National University there are many talented and motivated students with a bright future. One of them is OnlanovaZhanel, a 2020 graduate of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Chinese Studies.

In August 2020, Zhaneltook first place in Kazakhstan at the 19th regional competition "The Bridge of the Chinese Language" among students of Nur-Sultan and was sent to participate in an international competition. On November 5 this year, at the international competition in Beijing (China), she took part in the competition on behalf of the students of Kazakhstan, took 3rd place and was among the 30 best contestants in the world. She also won the title of “6 Strongest Contestants of the Asian Continent”. As a result, she received a grant to study at Peking University for a master's degree in specialty of international politicsstudies.

Through diligent study, Zhanel was able to set the stage for her future. We have no doubt that she will have a great future. We are proud of such students.
