ORGANIZED A FESTIVAL EVENT “SPRING FESTIVAL”

On the 17th of February 2021 year, at the Department of Chinese Studies, specializing in foreign philology, 3rd year students organized a festival event "Spring Festival".

        The purpose of the evening was to expand the cultural field of students, to increase their interest in celebrating the Chinese New Year, which is celebrated annually, to acquaint them with their traditions and peculiarities.

        The guests of honor were the teachers of the Department of Sinology Sharipkazy Nurtalip and Matai Bulbul. We said that Chinese New Year is celebrated in other countries around the world and it is the most wonderful holiday, and we had a good time learning many interesting facts.

         In general, the evening passed in four stages:

1. Introduction. This section discussed students who studied in China last year on an academic mobile program. The students spoke about the peculiarities of Chinese culture and their impressions.

2. In the next step, a slide presentation was made, which provided complete information about the Chinese New Year. During this period, special attention was paid to the number of days of the holiday and its traditions.

3. At this stage, the guest of the evening, the teacher of the Department of Sinology Matai Bulbul made a presentation on the Chinese New Year.

4. In the final stage, a video of the Chinese New Year was shown. In addition, a game was played in the Kahoot program to get student feedback on the information provided.

At the end of the evening our guests, teachers Nurtalip Sharipkazy and Bulbul Matai, expressed their opinion and thanked for the good evening.
