Online lecture on the topic "science as a profession and vocation"

In March of this year teachers of our department Amirbekova U.A. and Tashkenbayeva B.T. organized for us an online lecture on the topic "science as a profession and vocation." The lecturer was PhD, Associate Professor of the Department of the Far East - Akhapov Yerlan Abdievich. He shared his experience, and told how to correctly formulate scientific works, dissertations and research papers. Also he showed some examples of his researches and dissertation. He told how he consciously came to the scientific field of activity and told about his experience and knowledge which he gained in Japan. Students discovered and learned a lot of new things, and also came to the conclusion that science is a vocation. A person should like to write researches, write about something new, make discoveries and do all these for the benefit of people. At the end, we asked the lecturer questions and received answers to all our questions. This lecture was participated by 2nd and 3rd year students, so we were more interested in diploma work thesis and how to choose it. It was very interesting to listen to, and most importantly informative.
