Over the past 30 years, Kazakhstan has achieved a lot: the very first step that our President took is the renunciation of nuclear weapons. Rejection of the most terrible weapons of mass destruction as a demonstration of their peaceful policy and good intentions.
Our Republic has been recognized by more than 100 countries of the world. She became a member of a number of international organizations, including the UN.
The strategic transfer of the capital to the center of Kazakhstan in Astana gave a new impetus for the renewal and growth of Kazakhstan. The most striking indicator of the formation of Kazakhstan as a legal and democratic state was the holding of the world exhibition EXPO 2017 in Astana and the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Alash Orda party.
All this would not have happened without the most important thing, without gaining the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. We have been going to this for a long time through difficulties and tests of time. We are grateful to fate, time, and people for our independence and the possibility of self-affirmation of our state, as the Independent Republic of Kazakhstan.
