KAZNU STUDENTS CAN LEARN HUNGARY HISTORY
An information exhibition about the Budapest Parliament has opened at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. This exposition, which presents photographs and books, will allow visitors to learn a lot about the Budapest Parliament, about the history of Hungary and Europe.
The event was attended by the Consul General of Hungary in Almaty Ferenc Blauman, the faculty and students of the university.
At the opening of the exhibition, a welcome letter from the Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev was read. In his speech, the head of the university noted that the Parliament of Budapest is a symbol of a united Hungary, a historical place on the banks of the Danube, where international memorandums were signed and important documents were adopted for the institutionalization of parliamentary democracy in Europe. “Between Kazakhstan and Hungary, in addition to political and economic relations, there are close historical ties, which, despite the distances, are only getting stronger. In this direction, Kazakh and Hungarian scientists show mutual interest in studying common historical roots. Joint archaeological research is being carried out to study the history of the settlement of the Kipchaks in Hungary and the Magyars in Kazakhstan. ", Zhanseit Tuymebaev emphasized.
Ferenc Blaumann spoke about the peculiarities of a unique architectural structure - the Parliament of Hungary, which is the most beautiful parliamentary building in Europe in terms of architecture. According to the Consul General of Hungary in Almaty, the building is the largest building in the country: it has 691 rooms, 29 stairs, 27 entrances and as many as 10 courtyards. The halls of the building are decorated with paintings, sculptures and frescoes.
It should be noted that this exhibition will run until December 15th. The doors of the Keremet student service center will be open in the next two weeks for everyone who wants to visit the exposition.
