On April 22, 2022, on the basis of the Department of Economics of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Higher School of Economics and Business, a subject Olympiad in Microeconomics was organized and held inside the department.
At all stages of the Olympiad, the level of theoretical knowledge of participants was assessed using level 1-5 homework, tests, cells, pictograms and questions in the form of task assignments, as well as demonstration of practical skills acquired by students in the study of the disciplines "Microeconomics". Tasks for all stages of the Olympiad have been developed, criteria and methods for evaluating Olympiad tasks have been defined, information support for the Olympiad has been organized.
The participants of the above Olympiad were 2nd year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, the Finance group, the State and Local Government group, the Accounting and Audit group, the Marketing group, and the Management group.
According to the results of the Olympiad, the "fastest" group was nominated by the marketing team, the "most grasping" group by the Management team. The winners of the first place were: the group of State and Local Government, the second place - the Finance group, the third place -the Accounting and Audit group.
