THE PRESS SERVICE OF KAZNU BECAME THE LAUREATE OF THE INTERNATIONAL COMPETITIO
Professional and creative achievements of the Department of Information and Communication of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University were marked by the international competition "Media-Nauryz".
The Press Service of KazNU won the honorary 2nd place, certificate and prize of the international contest "Media-Nauryz" for the materials dedicated to the"Anniversary of Zhambyl - a Common Holiday for the Turkic People" and "Al–Farabi -Iqbal": the Revival of the Historical Memory of the Turkic World".
The international competition is dedicated to the holiday of the spring New Year Nauryz, which has been widely celebrated by the Turkic nations for more than four thousand years.
The competition for the best media coverage of the university's scientific activities in the field of Altaic studies and Turkology is held within the framework of the project "The Turkic World of the Greater Altai: Unity and Diversity in History and Modern Times" in order to popularize the topics of Altaic studies and Turkology in the media space and strengthen international information cooperation between universities and scientific institutes in Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
The of the competition was organized by the Scientific and Educational Center of Altaic Studies and Turkology "Big Altai" together with the Association of Asian Universities and the Guild of Interethnic Journalism.
