STUDENT OF KAZNU IS A WINNER OF THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP
Student of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Abiba Abuzhakynova has become the bronze medalist of the 2022 World Judo Championship.
The competition was held in Tashkent, where the student of KazNU in the weight category up to 48 kg defeated opponents from France, Brazil and Chile. In the quarterfinals, Abiba Abuzhakynova defeated Milisa Nikolic from Serbia. As the coaches noted, Abuzhakynova is a talented athlete with great prospects. In 2020 she became the bronze medalist of the Championship of the Republic of Kazakhstan, further in 2021 the athlete won the title of national champion.
Abiba is a student of the "School of Higher Sportsmanship" and is a silver medalist of the European Cup, twice the athlete has gained silver medal of the Asian Championship and became winner of the Asian Cup. In 2018 she performed on behalf of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University at the Universiade in Baku, where she won a silver medal in judo.
Abiba Abuzhakynova studies at the Faculty of Law under the educational program "Law Enforcement" of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Today the Kazakh athlete became the first prize-winner of the World Judo Championship.
