ISSUES OF BIOLOGICAL SAFETY WERE DISCUSSED AT KAZNU

The seminar "Interdepartmental scientific cluster as a basis for the creation of high-tech products" was held at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, organized by the National Holding QazBioPharm.

The event was attended by Chairman of the Board Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Holding QazBioPharm Berdibek Saparbayev, Deputy of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova, member of the Committee on Socio-Cultural Development of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Guldara Nurumova, Chairman of the Committee on Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurkan Sadvakasov, representatives of the faculty staff, university students, etc.

"In order to commercialize research projects and further introduce them into production, the university has been operating a technology commercialization office since 2021. In order to strengthen the innovation ecosystem, we plan to open the Al-Farabi SciTech Center, which will focus primarily on the joint use of its infrastructure by specialists from different fields of science," the rector stated.
