Students of the Department of Russian Philology and World literature of Al-Farabi KazNU Faculty of Philology learnt about the secret of Russian cuisine

On February 22, 2023 Russian House in the city of Almaty together with the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of Al-Farabi KazNU held a master class for foreign students dedicated to Maslenitsa celebration.

Experienced chef, Galina Vasilyeva taught future Russian language teachers how to cook pancakes, shared the secrets of cooking everyone's favorite traditional Russian delicacy.

The students mixed the liquid for pancakes  enthusiastically, and then fried pancakes with a passion. The students, Begaliyeva Saule Bayazovna, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, and the employees of the Russian House in Almaty, headed by Tatyana Baryshnikova took an active part in making pancakes.

In the year declared in the CIS as the Year of the Russian language as the language of interethnic communication, this international meeting became a bright event for everyone!
