KAZNU SUMMED UP THE RESULTS OF THE II INTERNATIONAL FARABI FORUM

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University summed up the results of the II International Farabi Forum organized within the framework of the Science Week.

The meeting was opened by a member of the Board of KazNU – Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Lyazzat Yerkinbayeva. She congratulated academic staff of the University and the applicants on the Day of Science Workers and wished creative success. 

The traditional International Farabi Forum has become an authoritative platform that unites Arabist scientist from all over the world, as it helps to strengthen the aspirations of young scientists and for in-depth research. The conference "Philosophy of Language and the Language of Philosophy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi" within the framework of the II International Farabi Forum was attended by more than 170 scientists. About 100 reports were presented at the plenary sessions and sections of the conference, as well as on discussion platforms. They were attended by 35 foreign scientists from more than 15 countries, namely from the USA, France, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Egypt, Malaysia, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan.

Within the framework of the II International Farabi Forum, the conference "Philosophy of Language and the Language of Philosophy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi", a contest of philosophical essays and videos was held for the second time.

According to the results of the forum, 16 winners of the competition "The Best Young Scientist of KazNU" were awarded diplomas and certificates in the amount of 100 thousand KZT.
