Al-Farabi KazNU holds II International Workshop “Current issues of information security, artificial intelligence and robotic systems” within the framework of Kazakh-Indo American Project for Faculty Staff Professional Training and Skills Maintenance on Natural Sciences and Technical Disciplines, KIUCEE

The Workshop as a continuation of the I International Seminar held at al-Farabi KazNU on 12-14 January, 2012 within the framework of Kazakh-Indo American Project for Faculty Staff Professional Training and Skills Maintenance on Natural Sciences and Technical Disciplines, KIUCEE, is for engineers, mathematicians, technicians and teaching staff of universities in Natural Sciences and Technical Disciplines.

Xiaowei Xu, Ph. D., Professor of Information Science Department of University of Arkansas at Little Rock, consultant of Acxiom Corporation on intellectual analysis of the data, data mining and machine learning will conduct the Workshop session on Topical Issues of Artificial Intelligence.

Tarek M. Sobh, Ph.D., Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research, Distinguished Professor of Engineering and Computer Science, Dean of School of Engineering, University of Bridgeport, Founding Director of Robotics, Intelligent Sensing and Control (RISC) Laboratory, Professor in Computer and Information Science will conduct the Workshop session on Topical Issues in the field of Robotic Systems.

The workshop will be conducted in English.

Participants will be awarded with international certificates upon the successful completion of the training.

Date and venue: 23-25 January, 2013 at 10.00 am – 04.00 pm.
