Eurasian idea of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev and its development

International conference titled: “Eurasian idea of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev and its development”, dedicated to the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan to be held on 28 November, 2014 at the International Relations Department of the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.

Organizers: Center for Eurasian Studies at the Department of International Relations of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, with the support of Nurbank of RK.

The conference program provides the study of problems of history and development of the Eurasian idea of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev, the theoretical and practical aspects of Eurasian integration, security aspects, political, economic and legal aspects within the EAEC, the perception of integration by society, as well as current problems and prospects of deepening and enlargement of the Eurasian integration.

Within the event the organizers provide for on-line conference of students of the Faculty of International Relations, Al - Farabi Kazakh National University with representatives of the Eurasian Youth Movement (Moscow, Russia) and the presentation of books published under the general editorship of Professor Ibrashev ZH.U.: “Eurasian idea of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev”; “Eurasianism: history, theory, practice”.

The conference invites representatives the diplomatic corps, government agencies, international organizations, NGOs and the academic community, as well as the media.

On the eve of the conference there will be organized a contest of scientific works of students on Eurasian issues, and on its completion the results of competitive works of students with the presentation of certificates and money prizes will be announced.

Conference proceedings will be published as a separate collection.
