On October 9, the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data organized an international workshop on the use of artificial intelligence to manage water resources and support decision-making within the framework of sustainable development goal No. 6 “Clean water and sanitation.” Speaker – Head of the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data M.E. Mansurova shared at the seminar the results of research conducted in the field of green and digital transformation at KazNU. al-Farabi. And the speaker Ospan A.G., senior lecturer at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, made a report on the topic “Development of intelligent geoinformation models based on machine learning for monitoring water resources in Kazakhstan.” Purpose of the work: To develop a geoinformation model with a geodatabase on the state of water resources and socio-economic indicators of the regions where water bodies are located, for analysis and monitoring of changes, and also to set up decision-making tools using machine learning methods.
