KAZNU hosted a Forum of universities of China and Central Asian countries

On 10/14/2023, at 11:00 a.m., the Central Asian-Chinese Cooperation Forum in the Field of Higher Education was held in the conference hall of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Library on the topic: "THE FOURTH INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION: INTEGRATION OF INDUSTRY AND EDUCATION". This forum was dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the International Initiative "ONE BELT AND ONE ROAD", organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Jiaotong Xi'an University.

The opening ceremony of the forum was attended by Advisor to the President of Kazakhstan Otarbayev Malik Nurzhanovich, who handed over a congratulatory letter from the head of the country Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. Vice-Minister of Higher Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ahmed-Zaki Darkhan Zhumakhanovich, President of Xi'an Jiaotong University Wang Shuguo, President of the Kaznu Alumni Association, statesman and public figure Mami Kairat Abdrazakovich and Consuls General of China, Tajik, Uzbek, Kyrgyz Republics in Almaty also made welcoming speeches.

The Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich was the responsible moderator of this forum meeting. Rector Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich at the opening ceremony of the forum noted that the presidents of the country attach great importance to the international initiative "ONE BELT AND ONE ROAD", and gave examples from the fundamental experience of China and other countries that the trend of today's development is: "INTEGRATION OF INDUSTRY AND EDUCATION based on the concept of Industry 4.0". In this direction, the integration of India, China, Russia and the countries of Central Asia is not only a big market, but also great opportunities for development. In modern conditions, the opening of subsidiaries of Kaznu in foreign countries and universities of foreign countries, where students and young scientists are engaged in science, pleases everyone.
