KazNU strengthens ties with East China Pedagogical University

Zhamila Aitzhanova, Member of the Board - Vice-Rector for Scientific and Innovative Activities of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, met with Prof. Wang Haiyan, Director of the Center for Central Asian Studies, School of International Relations, East China Normal University.

During the talk, the sides noted the dynamic development of bilateral relations and reaffirmed mutual interest in further comprehensive strengthening of partnership.

At the meeting Vice-rector Zhamila Aitzhanova emphasized that KazNU attaches special importance to the development of cooperation with East China Pedagogical University.

For his part, Wang Haiyan suggested implementing a dual degree program between the two universities and exchanging students and teachers on academic mobility.

In conclusion, the director of the Center for Central Asian Studies invited the leadership of KazNU to East China Pedagogical University. 

At the end of the meeting, the parties identified the main areas of cooperation and agreed to intensify interaction in the field of education and science.

Recall that on November 23, 2015, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and East China Normal University signed an agreement of understanding.
