The Afghan War: History and lessons (1979-1989)

The exhibition "The Afghan War: History and Lessons (1979-1989)" was held in the assembly hall of the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the Public Development Department of Almaty.)". It was attended by historians, war veterans, representatives of NGOs, mass media, students and youth.

This conference was moderated by Professor of the Department of "History of Kazakhstan" of the Faculty of History of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Historical Sciences, veteran of the Afghan War Sailan Bolat Sanabayuly and made a report "The Truth of the Afghan War (1979-1989)".)".

The conference was held with the aim of educating patriotism and youth among the younger generation.
