On October 25, on the Day of the Republic, the Chairman of the Board-Rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Ph.D., Professor Tuymebayev Zh.K. awarded a number of teaching staff contributing to the development of the university. Dean of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor Kurmanbayeva Meruert Sakenovna and Head of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience, PhD, Professor Almira Kustubaeva Melsovna were awarded "Honorary diplomas". For their contribution to the development of the university, the medal "Eren enbegi Ushin" was awarded to Candidate of Biological sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience Ablaykhanova Nurzhanat Tatukhanovna and Deputy Dean for Scientific Innovation and International Cooperations PhD, Associate Professor Sadvakasova Asemgul Kalyikumarovna. Also, the Deputy Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics for educational, methodological and educational work, PhD Anna Vladimirovna Lovinskaya and the Deputy Head of the Department of Biodiversity and Bioresources for educational, methodological and educational work Mankibayeva Sandugash Amanzholovna have been awarded with a letter of appreciation by the Chairman of the Board - University Rector.
