The older generation is our precious treasure

SDG.1 NO POVERTY

On October 28, 2023, 1st year students of the specialty of Archival Science together with members of the organization "League of Volunteers" held a festive charity event "The older generation is our precious treasure" dedicated to the Day of the Elderly.

The Kazakh people have long considered the elderly to be rich and have always treated their elders with respect. Their way of life is an irreplaceable treasure for today's generations. The main purpose of the event is to instill in the younger generation such qualities as morality, respect, paying special attention to elderly pensioners.

The students prepared a concert program, which was attended by the elderly themselves. All the participants of the event sang, read poems, played melodies, danced and played various karaoke games with one big family, giving them a great mood. Listening to the memories and stories of old people strengthened the picture of a close relationship between old people and young people. Let's always appreciate and respect our older generation!
