Open Day at the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted an Open Day for 1st year students.

Director of the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan Shildebai Sabit Kamytbekovich first of all explained to students the importance of the specialty archive. The students were told in detail about the work of the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a full familiarization work was carried out with the archive department, the progress of work. At the educational event, young teenagers were told about the history of archives, documentary data, funds. At the end of the event, a short film was shown, which allowed to fully reveal all the subtleties of the archive's activities.

The Archive is a huge platform connecting the horizons of the past, present and future. The main goal of today's open day is to attract the younger generation to study the history, traditions and customs of the country, increase patriotic feelings for the Motherland, native land, stimulate research work, promote the work of industry specialists, instill archival documents and the historical significance of the archival industry. The event made a great contribution to strengthening the attention and intelligence of future young archivists.
