Students of KazNU became prize-winners in fencing

Galymzhan Nurymov, a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Medicine and Public Health at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, took first place in the individual and team competitions at the RK Fencing Cup.

Kazakhstan Fencing Cup was held in November 2023 in Oskemen. After this competition Galymzhan Nurymov got a ticket to the World Cup in Tashkent.

In the world competition, which took place on December 2-3, he took 2nd place in individual fencing and 3rd place in team fencing.

Kamila Mirzakhmetova, a 2nd year student of the Faculty of International Relations, took 2nd place in the team event at the RK Cup in Ust-Kamenogorsk.
