KazNU concluded a trilateral memorandum with Chinese partners

The delegation of the Northwest Polytechnic University (Xi'an, China) and the Chinese Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT) arrived to Al-Farabi KazNU with a working visit. Within the framework of the visit there was a meeting of honorable guests with the leadership of KazNU.

The meeting discussed issues related to the work of the branch of the North-West Polytechnic University (NWPU), opened on the basis of KazNU on October 12, 2023, and other areas of research cooperation.

Zhang Yannin, Vice President of Northwestern Polytechnic University, in her speech spoke about the activities of the Celestial state university, which since 1938 has been producing professionals in the field of aviation, aerospace and marine navigation. She also expressed readiness for active and fruitful cooperation for the development of the NWPU branch and expansion of its activities.

At the end of the meeting, the signing ceremony of a memorandum of cooperation between Al-Farabi KazNU, Northwestern Polytechnic University (NWPU) and the Chinese Academy of Information and Communication Technology (CAICT) took place.

The tripartite agreement plans to: conduct research on Big Data and artificial intelligence technologies and applications; exchange and cooperation in the field of digital learning.

The memorandum also notes: joint organization of high-level seminars in the digital sphere to promote contacts and exchange of views between governments, enterprises, research institutes and industrial organizations of the SCO countries and intensification of cooperation of the SCO countries in the digital system, etc.
