“Conservation of terrestrial ecosystems”

On February 8, 2024,  at 14.00 in room 428 under the guidance of Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Zh.Kh. Salkhanova discussed SDG 15: “Conservation of terrestrial ecosystems”. The students from Kazakhstan  majoring in   “Translation Studies”, as well as the  students from Belgium who arrived in Kazakhstan to study at al-Farabi Kazakh National University under the academic mobility program took part in the event.  The students from Kazakhstan Saginbaeva Dilnaz, Maratova Zhanel, Erengalieva Aruzhan and others spoke about the toponymic map of our country.  The  students from Belgium Lambert Damien, Tossens Maria, Jude Tedtim showed materials about their hometowns in the  presentations. In conclusion,  the students made  proposals  how to  solve environmental problems.
