Books of KazNU scientist are exhibited in the National Library

Books of the famous historian, academician, teacher of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Laili Akhmetova were exhibited in the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The exhibition presented the best books and textbooks of the professor, such as "Brest Fortress", "Panfilovtsy: Our Pride, Our Glory", "Furious 1941. Reflections of Historians", "Journalism and Management" and many others.

Laila Akhmetova is the author of more than 110 books, articles and brochures. She worked with dozens of archives in different countries in search of documents of the dead and missing Kazakhstani citizens. The historian managed to collect data and prove that 635 of our compatriots defended the Brest Fortress.

Today Laila Seisembekovna works as a teacher at the Faculty of Journalism of KazNU. For 50 years she has trained many qualified specialists.

It is worth noting that most of the professor's books are presented in the library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Also, exhibitions of the scientist's books were held in the National Academic Library, the National Library of the Republic of Belarus.
