Impact Central: Bridging Social Development and Entrepreneurship in Central Asia

On February 22-23, 2024, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics Biken Nurmanova took part in the international conference «Impact Central: Bridging Social Development and Entrepreneurship in Central Asia», which was organized by Nazarbayev University’s Research Centre for Enterpreneurship (Astana). The conference was attended by representatives of Central Asian countries, as well as Georgia, Azerbaijan, China and other countries (SDG 17: Partnerships for the goals). Participants discussed issues such as the development of entrepreneurial education, the role of women in entrepreneurship (SDG 5: Gender equality), sustainable and inclusive entrepreneurship and a number of others (SDG 10: Reduced inequalities).
