Discussion on the topic: Gender Equality

On March 12, 2023  at 10.00 in room 213  Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences Zh.Kh. Salkhanova held a discussion on SDG 5 – Gender Equality. The relevance of the topic under discussion is due to the fact that the event was dedicated to International Women's Day on March 8.  The participants talked about  кazakh national clothing. The event was organized in the format of a round table discussion. The  students majoring in  “Translation Studies” took part in the event.  The students Arsen Arailym, Erezhep Akniet, Kabylbek Inabat, Sagidollaev Madi and others spoke about the problems of gender equality in Kazakhstan, the history and symbolism of Kazakh national clothing. Abduhalik Aruzhan, Abekova Feruza, Bektemirov Aslanbek showed in their presentations video materials filmed on the campus of Al-Farabi KazNU. Students and the teacher came to the event in national clothes and traditional Kazakh jewelry.
