Press service of KazNU received an invitation to the international film festival

The Department of Information and Communications of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University received an invitation to participate in the Eastern European Film Festival.

Bakyt Amirbek, head of Farabi media TV studio, director Bakyt Amirbek will take part in the international event.
The collegial meeting in Wiesbaden (Germany) will bring together directors, film experts, scriptwriters, cameramen and art researchers from almost 30 countries.
The participants will discuss ways to develop the film industry in Eastern Europe. They will also consider the revival of children's films, writing quality scripts, differentiating viewer preferences, preparing informational stories, and filming expert programs.
"With the support of Canadian actor, producer, composer Leroy Fankar has received an invitation to the international film festival. This is a great achievement for our press office. Because, it is the second famous international festival after the Cannes Festival," says Bakhyt Amirbek.

The international event will be held in April this year.
Four departments and one sector, which are part of the Department of Information and Communications of KazNU, carry out outreach activities of the higher educational institution. The newspaper "Qazaq universiteti", published on the basis of KazNU, since January 2022 received the status of republican and entered the catalog of "Kazpost". The circulation of the newspaper with 75-year history is 3000 copies. Currently, the number of subscribers is increasing, the edition is distributed in the regions of the country.
Farabi Media" studio is engaged in the creation of television programs and documentaries, news stories and interesting podcasts. Currently, on the official page of the University in the social network YouTube, the number of readers is growing every day. On the channel, which opened in 2015, 16 thousand people were registered until 2021, currently the number of subscribers is about 50 thousand.

Last year a new website of KazNU, designed in a modern style, was launched. Today the design of official pages in social networks is changing, measures are taken to increase the number of readers.
