“Gender equality is the key to the prosperity of the country”

On March 18, 2024,Altyn Zhunanova the 1st year master's degree student majoring in «Cinema and Media» together with Associate  Professor G.K. Imanaliyeva held the educational event on the topic:  “Gender equality is the key to the prosperity of the country” with the students  at the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The event aimed at making  the participants aware of gender equality problems. 

The students were introduced to  the results of the survey, talked about “gender equality” in the world, discussed the portrait of a man and a woman that has developed in the Kazakh culture.  

In addition,  the students were shown a number of films on the topic of gender equlity the plots of which were discussed.  The organizers  also held the contest on the topic: «Pros and Cons of Gender Equality» among the students . The participants  also discussed  mass media information and laws on the given topic.
