PARTICIPATION IN THE UNIVERSITY-WIDE CLEANUP DAY OF KAZNU

Within the framework of SDG 3. «Good health and well-being», students, undergraduates and teachers of the UNESCO SD department took part in the university-wide cleanup day of KazNU, which took place on October 7, 2023. The cleanup workers qualitatively cleared the designated area of fallen leaves, branches and household waste . They noted that the cleanup is not just cleaning, but a change in attitude towards environmental protection, bringing harmony and cleanliness to the world and life. In addition, this is a good physical activity for the body of a modern person who is accustomed to leading a sedentary lifestyle.Therefore, students and master’s degree students of the EP «Ecology», «Geoecology», «Environmental Engineering» and «Life Safety and Environmental Protection» always consciously take part in community cleanups and other environmental events.
