Scientific ties between KazNU and Copernicus University

Bayansulu Otegenova, a first-year master's student of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Catalysis and Petrochemistry, will take part in a summer program for students studying natural sciences at Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun, Poland.

 

Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń is one of the oldest universities in Poland and one of the Top 10 best public universities in Poland. The university offers 17 faculties in Polish (over 100 specializations) and English.

The Summer School at Nicolaus Copernicus University will take place from July 1 to July 28, 2024. This is a great opportunity for students interested in natural sciences to spend a 4-week summer research project in areas such as chemical sciences, biochemistry and biotechnology.

Bayansulu Otegenova, a 1st year master student of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Catalysis and Petrochemistry, plans to conduct scientific research on the project "Healing agent for wound healing on the basis of chemically modified diatomic biosilica" under the guidance of Polish Professor Miroslaw Sprinsky. In KazNU scientific supervision of Bayansulu Otegenova's project is carried out by Aliya Ospanova, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Physical Chemistry of Catalysis and Petrochemistry.
