XIV International Symposium on the topic "Combustion and plasma chemistry. Physics and chemistry of carbon and nanoenergy materials" within the framework of SDGs 9, 12, 13 and 15
From November 7 to 8, 2023, the XIV International Symposium on the topic “Combustion and plasma chemistry. Physics and chemistry of carbon and nanoenergy materials” was held at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of al-Farabi KazNU. The symposium was attended by Kazakh scientists, as well as scientists from Russia, South Korea, China, Germany and Morocco. It should be noted that a large number of reports were presented on the achievement of sustainable development goals 9, 12, 13, 15 that are relevant for Kazakhstan: combating climate change, environmental protection, industrialization, innovation and infrastructure, careful consumption of raw materials. The symposium was organized by the Institute of Combustion Problems together with al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the Kazakh-British Technical University. Abstracts of the reports presented at the symposium were published in a collection of proceedings (ISBN 978-601-269-508-3). Following the results of the symposium, participants were given the opportunity to publish their articles in the journals “Eurasian Chemico-Technological Journal” and “Combustion and Plasma Chemistry”.
Supiyeva Zh.A., being the chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the ICP, was the organizer of the conference under the leadership of Doctor of Chemical Sciences, professor, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mansurov Z.A.
