Conference "LONG ACTIVE LIFE" within the "Silver University" Project, organized by the Institute of Advanced Training and Additional Education

On April 26, 2024, a conference titled "LONG ACTIVE LIFE" was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) as part of the "Silver University" project, organized by the Institute for Advanced Training and Additional Education in collaboration with the Center for Active Longevity under the Akimat of Almaty City.

Participants had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with new educational programs designed specifically for the older generation. These programs provide knowledge and skills in various fields, from arts and culture to health and ICT technologies, opening up new opportunities for learning and self-development.

During the conference, participants exchanged experiences and ideas with experts in various fields of knowledge and professional competencies. Information about available courses and educational resources was presented, and a memorandum of cooperation was signed between KazNU, the Center for Active Longevity of Almaty City, and the Akimat of Bostandyk District of Almaty City.

Additionally, participants enjoyed a concert program presented by the Center for Active Longevity of Almaty City, featuring dances, songs, and other performances reflecting the cultural heritage and talents of the older generation.

The "LONG ACTIVE LIFE" conference within the "Silver University" project was an important event demonstrating interest and attention to the education and development of the older generation, opening up new horizons for their active and fulfilling life.
