International Forum “Active Longevity Experience and Development Prospects”

The Institute for Advanced Training and Continuing Education of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, in cooperation with the Center for Active Longevity under the Employment and Social Programs Department of Almaty City Administration, will host the International Forum “Active Longevity Experience and Development Prospects” on September 30, 2025.

Forum objective: to discuss best international practices in supporting older citizens, introduce modern technologies and innovative approaches, and develop recommendations for improving quality of life.

The forum program includes.

• Panel sessions and discussions (KazNU Library);
• Familiarization with the experience of active longevity centers in Almaty and Almaty Region;
• Presentation of the “Silver University” projects;
• Exhibition of decorative and visual arts, concerts of creative groups, master classes;
• Cultural program and excursions for international guests.
