Aryn Berik Sakbayuly

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan Berik Sakbayuly was born in the Taldykorgan region in 1969.

Born and raised in the village of Muk, Kirovsky district, he graduated from high school in 1986 and graduated with a “gold” grade.

An active guy came to university having learnt from life and become stronger. In 1986-1987, he worked for a year in a construction team formed by young people in his native village. In the period 1987-1989, he served in the army of the Mari Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. Returning to the country, he entered the Arabic department of the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the leader of higher education the Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi. Berik's deep education and internal culture were combined, and his reputation was higher than that of his peers. It will not be an exaggeration to say that the most talented boys and girls in Kazakhstan studied at this course.

Abdimoldaev Bakhtibay worked as a consul at the Iranian embassy of Kazakhstan, Onalbaev Ontalap worked as a consultant, Zhanar Adilbekova worked at the KazAzyk corporation in Iran, Koishibaev Gabit, Nuryshev Shahrat and Serik Narysov served in the Republic of Kazakhstan in China. Among my students, Aryn Berik should be singled out, who proved himself to be a qualified specialist at the embassy, ​​and then in the USA in Shanghai.

Among the best students, even when he went to Morocco for language training in 1992-1993, he was able to distinguish himself in a unique way. His friends who studied at the Maouli Ismail University in Meknes always say that he easily mastered subjects related to Arabic language and literature, culture and history, and was highly respected among the teachers of this university. We valued Berik, an excellent student and an active participant in the social life of the university, as a person of high morality. We had high hopes for the future of the perspective, young warrior Berik, and our faith is justified today.

In 1994, after graduating from the Faculty of Oriental Studies of the Kazakh State University, he was invited to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where until 1996 he held the positions of assistant and attaché of the department of the Near and Middle East and Africa.

 In 1995, Berik Sakbayuly, who was always in search, entered the Academy of Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, received a second higher education in this field and entered the first level of foreign policy.

In 1996, he was appointed attaché at the Kazakh Embassy in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and rose to the ranks of third, second and first secretary. Until 2001, he worked tirelessly to establish and strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

Berik Sakbaiyuly, full of energy and youth, fulfilled his duties with great responsibility and became an experienced specialist in his field. In 2001-2002, Berik Sakbayuly, well versed in the intricacies of diplomacy and fluent in Arabic and English as his native language, was appointed head of the Middle East and Africa department of the Department of Bilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2001-2002. He performed this service with honor.

In 2002-2006, he worked as a consultant at the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Cairo, the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt, developing and strengthening relations between Egypt and Kazakhstan.

We are proud to say that the career level of experience gained in the field of diplomacy has increased even further. In 2006-2007, the position of chief inspector of the foreign policy center under the administration of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan was an honor not only for Berik, but also for the Kazakh National University.

Since June 2007, he has been in charge of the department of interparliamentary relations and international cooperation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Berik Sakbayuly became a leading specialist in this field and served as Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

He was an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Arab Republic of Egypt since 2011. On April 13, 2012, President Nursultan Nazarbayev, who took part in an extended meeting of the board of the country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, determined the main directions of the department’s activities for the next decade and assigned a number of important tasks for our diplomats abroad. Thus, by Decree of the Leader of the Nation Serik Sakbayuly, Aryn was appointed Executive Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of Morocco, including the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary.

Berik Sakbayuly, who managed to work tirelessly in the diplomatic and public service entrusted to him, was awarded the medal “10 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan” and diplomas of the “Council of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS Countries” and the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
