Rector of KazNU familiarized with the construction progress of "Farabi HUB"

Chairman of the Board - Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Zhanseit Tuimebayev familiarized himself with the progress of construction of the Farabi HUB center being built on the campus.

The head of the university was reported on the main results of the work being carried out.

Director of the construction company Abdigappar Sarsenbayev presented the internal and external design of the building to Zhanseit Tuimebayev.

The total area of the center for innovative development of high-tech projects and products is 5 thousand square meters. Laboratories, classrooms, conference halls, recreation areas and canteens will function here for research projects. 

At present, window installation works have been completed. The ventilation system has been installed, and internal construction works of the center are underway.

As a result, Zhanseit Tuimebayev instructed to perform construction works qualitatively and in time - in accordance with the production schedule. In addition, the rector emphasized that the equipment meets modern standards. He noted that the creation of favorable conditions for students is the main task of the development of the university and the country as a whole.

The rector also toured the dormitories and the Keremet Student Service Center, where he got acquainted with their activities.
