Young scientists of KazNU discussed initiatives of the National Kurultai

Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Malik Otarbayev met with students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Active and creative youth, young scientists of KazNU took part in the event, organized in a free format.

At the third meeting of the National Kurultai, President Kasym-Jomart Tokayev said: "To become a progressive nation, we need to change the worldview of all citizens and to entrench new values in the public consciousness. If every citizen follows the ideals of the "adal azamat" concept, we will build a just society. "Responsible person - honest labor - deserved success" - these are inseparable concepts that are key to building a progressive state".

Malik Otarbayev at the meeting with students spoke about the initiatives and proposals of the Head of State Kasym-Jomart Tokayev voiced at the National Kurultay. In his speech, the advisor to the President noted that young people play a great role in the realization of these issues and called to unite and work together in this direction.

During the meeting, Malik Otarbayev informed the participants about the assistance provided by the state to young people. He also emphasized in his speech that support for young people is always in the center of attention of the President.

Advisor to the President expressed his opinion in the direction of education of conscious generation in the modern era of globalization, stimulation of interest in reading among young people, development of social consciousness. He urged young people to improve their knowledge and information literacy.

At the National Kurultai, which became a platform for new initiatives and ideas, a number of issues related to the development of youth policy were raised. Today, a roadmap has been developed to protect young people from negative actions, prevent drug addiction, the use of electronic cigarettes and vape devices, and rid teenagers of addiction to ludomania and computer games.

The meeting highlighted the issues of increasing the intellectual potential of young people of the new, fair Kazakhstan, involving them in education and science.

Malik Otarbayev answered key questions that concern most students and wished them success in their studies.
